ALEX
After looking for information about ALEX, I notice that there are a lot of web sites for teachers to get information for students. It also has different types of programs to mentor and have students join after school activities. Mainly was more of a program for teachers to have to help them make lesson plans.
I think it can be very resourceful for teachers who are just starting out and don't know how to plan out what they need to cover. But it seems to me that maybe that its being used by teachers are don't want to actually teach in the classroom. Instead it gives them an alternative to making their own plans. All-in-All, i still think that its pretty good way to find ideas for teachers to communicate with students.

The Fischbowl
I just watched the video about the fischbowl and I must say that it was very interesting. The information provided in this was just astonishing. Like who would have thought that the United States would have only graduated 1.3 million people in 2006. Also how the world of technology has evolved. What really stood out was the fact that children in third world countries who may not make it past the fifth grade are being given computers to learn. I just really thought that the video was very eye opening!!!!
